Dr. Ellie Kwon is happy to be part of Plateau Dentistry for Children and call the beautiful Pacific Northwest her home!

After graduating magna cum laude from University of the Pacific, Dr. Kwon moved to San Francisco and completed her training at Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and graduated with honors. She then found her passion in treating children, and pursued additional training in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Kwon served as chief resident and received her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from BronxCare Health Systems.

Dr. Kwon was awarded with the Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award, which honors candidates who score in the top 3% of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry written board exam.

Dr. Kwon worked at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania as an attending pediatric dentist where she had the opportunity to work extensively with children of various needs.

Dr. Kwon firmly believes in the importance of patient-centered care and provides comprehensive care based on each patient’s needs utilizing pharmacological and non-pharmacological advanced behavior management. Her gentle and friendly approach helps patients feel at ease during their visits, making each dental appointment a positive experience.

In her spare time, Dr. Kwon loves traveling, hiking, and enjoying time with her husband Sean and her dog Ruby.
